TRISHA LYNN SIMON FOUNDATION

Trish Lynn Simon is a stage IV cancer survivor. She formerly practiced oncology nursing and is now the nursing director of Hanover Township's Community Health Department. She spent over 5 years with the Bartlett Fire Protection District as a FF/EMT and plays a roll in various charitable organizations including veteran's, Operation Support our Troops, Bartlett Volunteer Fire Corporation, etc.. Trish is a wife and mother of two boys ages 9 and 4. Although she's received widespread support for herself and family through "TEAM TRISH" an organization spearheaded by the community. Trish and her husband Jeff, himself a stage II cancer survivor, have established a new foundation that will give back to the community and support others in need. The Trisha Lynn Simon Foundation was presented to Trish and Jeff September 7th, 2008 by some of the founding members of TEAM TRISH.

The new Trisha Lynn Simon Foundation's mission is dedicated to providing a variety of opportunities to individuals and families. The foundation is prepared to provide financial support to those in need due to medical situations that have resulted in financial hardship, encourage and promote education for individuals interested in pursuing carers within the health care arena, promote disease prevention, screening strategies and wellness for common public health illness and concerns. The foundation will aspire to maintain a consistent high standard of quality, cost-effectiveness and satisfaction to our communities.

The new foundation needed of all the usual Business ID and stationery materials like a logo design, business cards, brochures, a new website for national presence, as well as, an apparel line to promote and give added support.

Trish approached Gina of Blu Aura Design, Inc. about the foundations branding needs and how she wanted the overall look of the design to reflect her personality.Gina was honored to create this art for her dear friend. She began creating designs that were inspired by Trish's passion, strength and the integrity of what her foundation represented. The overall look of the art has a unique fresh appeal that is trendy and feminine and even has a little bling!

Gina presented Trish with the new art as a gift sincerely from her heart. Trish was overwhelmed by how the designs captured the essence of who she was and how she wanted her foundation branded, the two hugged with excitement and happy tears. The designs were than shown to the board of directors who welcomed Gina of Blu Aura Design Inc. to help represent the foundation. Blu Aura Design Inc. will continue to develop the new website and other branding materials for the foundation. The website design will be spearheaded by Joe Freehill and Jeremy Freehill as a contribution to help our community.
