Inspiration - Gina Freehill Bio
For Years Gina has been designing successful product lines that draw attention from around the world! Her sense of timeless style and modern flare both contribute to her eye-catching designs! As an established licensor of giftware and home decor both nationally and internationally, she has expanded her art licensing to textile, stationary, books, apparel and other industries.
In 1993 Gina joined the Enesco Corporation design team. She began designing product for successful licensed lines such as; Walt Disney, Gone with the Wind ©Turner Entertainment, Precious Moments, Cherished Teddies, Calico Kittens and Memories of Yesterday. Exhibiting versatility as a designer she combined both traditional and digital art applications to much success. Her trendy style for creating popular product lines achieved her a Lead Stylist position art directing and designing several of her own multi-piece product lines that the industry knows her for, such as, It’s All About Dance, Art of Dance, It’s All About Ice, I Give You My Heart, Facets of Life and many others. It’s All About Dance & Art of Dance received rave reviews from several dance publications: Dance Retailer News - hot picks, Giftware News - best product award, Dance Teacher, Dance Spirit and Pointe.
In 2005 Gina left the corporate arena as Lead Design Stylist and later spearheaded the designing, art directing and licensing of her own product lines through her company, Blu Aura Design, Inc. Contracting directly with international vendors to art direct and design multi-piece product lines for specific retailers such as: TJ Max, Marshalls and Steinmart.
Exploring new avenues, Gina focused on creating product that would set itself apart in the market place. She began developing concepts that expressed finding peace in the simplicity of life. It was those inspirations that led to a new product line, 'Peace by Piece'. In 2007 Roman Inc. giftware company launched the product line with much success. Today Gina’s Peace Angels are recognized for their elongated feminine shape, home decor color palette and most of all for their individual messages of peace. The Peace Angels and their messages also drew the attention of QVC, Inc., one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world. QVC reaches more than 166 million cable and satellite homes worldwide. Appearing several times on QVC network in 2009 and 2010, Gina has gained quite a large collector base.

Gina’s experience seeking out niche markets also led to the success of her Language of Love Wedding Collection. January 2009 - the Language of Love Wedding Collection was launched. The elegant wedding line was shown at the Atlanta Mart, Chicago Merchandise Mart, Dallas Mart, NY and LA. The Wedding Cake Topper started drawing attention right away for it’s sophisticated and classic appeal, appearing in foreign and domestic publications. Brides love the modern elegance of the pieces and retailers liked the price point. Retailers began selling the wedding cake topper in their stores and across the internet. Bridal boutiques, cake accessories companies and national chains such as David’s Bridal Boutique are now selling the topper with continued sell-through success, as well as sell-out results! June 20th 2009, GinaFreehill.com went live with an online store which exclusively offers artist signature pieces of the cake toppers and her Peace Angels. There are presently 3 cake toppers in the collection, all receiveing international acclaim, and 2 new miniature toppers being introduced June 2011.
Gina continues to create designs that are on the pulse of market trends which has opened up many new licensing opportunities in 2010 and 2011. Along with the development of her new and established product lines Gina will continue expanding licensing into textile industries, childrens books, apparel, fashion accessories and direct mail catalogs.
